Guess the jelly beans!

Are you ready for the most amazing and EPIC fundraiser of all time, well you have to be because it’s here! Grade 3/4P have decided that our garden is looking a bit ordinary, so we have decided to start a “Guess the Jelly Bean Jar” Competition. You can buy a number between 100 and 1000 and guess how many Jelly Beans are in the Jar. Each number costs 50c each and you can enter as many times as you like. Numbers will be on sale for 2 weeks every night at the gate after school. All money raised goes towards building a class garden. If you have any questions we have advertising posters around the school or you can come and ask any of the amazing 3/4P students!

GOOD LUCK!

Hi everyone, keep an eye out in the school over the coming weeks for some of our student reporters, these 3/4P students have been asking students around the school about what issues are important to them. OUR READING WORLD RECORD!!

Can you believe this, grade 3/4p have been working so hard on building stamina during literacy and Daily 5 learning. In particluar during our read to self. We have had some reading sessions that have gone for 10 minutes, some for 30 minutes but toady something happened, it was crazy, some might even say that aliens came down and shot lazer guns that exploded our brains and turned us into reading machines!

Today we read for 52 mins! Yes that right 52 mins! Mr.P nearly cried, (he didn’t really because he is so cool) How amazing is that effort, check out our reflection posters from all 3/4p students!!

Friday Sports!

Check out some of the action during this weeks upper school sports! What is your favourite sport, what would you like to play during this session?

Maths To Self

Friday morning has now become ‘Maths to Self’. This is a great opportunity for students to work on Maths in their own way and at their own pace. Students select 3 things to work on during the session. This can be something to imporve on, something to practice more or something to be the best at! We would love to hear what you think!
